Exploring vitality from multiple perspectives

During the recent Vitality@TheHub gathering at the Workplace Vitality Hub, professionals, partners and students came together to explore how vitality can be embedded in everyday working life.

Throughout the afternoon, vitality was approached from different perspectives, from system thinking and research to practical applications within organisations. Contributions from Bas Habets (ONVZ), Tim de Vos-Donkers (Veldhoen + Company) and Max van Amelsfort (JK Group) highlighted how organisations can move beyond individual initiatives toward more structural approaches to healthy and sustainable work.

In interactive breakout sessions, participants explored three themes in more depth:

  • Light in the workplace – Maarten Voorhuis (Sparckel) together with Fontys students Cansu Sonkur and Gijs Scheepers

  • Mental health – the power of sport & performance psychology at work – Nicole Ebben (WPVH)

  • Design Thinking – Ida Damen (WPVH) together with TU/e student Floor Smit

The combination of professionals and students created valuable dialogue, fresh insights and strong interaction.

One of the key ideas discussed during the event is further explored in the whitepaper by ONVZ and Veldhoen + Company, which looks at vitality as a form of system innovation in organisations.
