Research mental rest at the WPVH

The research focuses on the challenges employees at WPVH face in achieving mental rest in the workplace. Mental rest includes psychological detachment and relaxation, both crucial for recovering from work-related stress.

Exploratory discussions revealed that 12 out of 14 employees struggle to find rest due to high workloads, performance pressure, and a distracting work environment.

Target:

To develop effective interventions, semi-structured interviews will be conducted with juniors and supervisors. The aim is to identify and understand the barriers and facilitators influencing mental rest, considering personal and environmental factors.

The results will contribute to designing solutions that help employees better detach and relax during the workday.
