Seeing that a large contributor to physical and mental problems of people stem from the work environment, it seems interesting to find out if the work environment can be improved such that it makes the employees more vital, both mentally and physically. I’ve studied the impacts of smart technologies in the office on employee vitality.
The findings suggest that employees in offices with smart technologies perceive higher levels of vitality, motivation, and resilience, although these differences are not statistically significant. However, positive significant correlations were found between being aware of using specific smart technologies, such as automatic sunscreens and occupancy sensors, and employee vitality and resilience.
